Ladakh

Ladakh is one of the 6 Lok Sabha constituencies of Jammu & Kashmir.

The total number of voters from the constituency are 1,66,763. Of them, 86,259 and 80,504 are male and female voters respectively.

Polling for Ladakh was held on May 06. In the last elections, BJP's sitting MP Thupstan Chhewang defeated IND's Ghulam Raza by a small margin of 36 votes.

A total of 71% voters cast their vote in these elections.

The result of Ladakh is out, as Jamyang Tsering Namgyal of Bharatiya Janata Party emerged as the winner in a completely one-sided battle against Rigzin Spalbar (Indian National Congress). The former garnered 1599 votes and won by a whopping margin of 805 votes.

For this seat, Bharatiya Janata Party fielded Jamyang Tsering Namgyal. On the other hand, Rigzin Spalbar was the candidate from Indian National Congress .
