Kawasaki's super-naked Z1100 bike goes official in India at ₹13L

Kawasaki has launched its latest super-naked motorcycle, the Z1100, in India. The bike comes with a price tag of ₹12.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Z1100 is an upgrade over the popular Kawasaki Z1000 and features a bigger engine and several other improvements. It retains the aggressive styling of its predecessor but comes with a host of modern features and technologies.

The bike features a 5-inch TFT display
The Kawasaki Z1100 maintains the original Sugomi design language, giving it a distinctive ready-to-pounce stance. The aggressive styling features menacing twin-pod LED headlamps, a sharply sculpted tank, and a pointed tail section. The bike also comes with modern features such as a 5.0-inch TFT display for adjusting electronic rider aids like traction control levels, power modes, and quickshifter settings among others.
Engine
It is backed by a 1,099cc, inline-four engine
The Kawasaki Z1100 is powered by a 1,099cc, inline-four, liquid-cooled engine that generates an impressive 136hp and 113Nm of torque. The bike borrows its aluminum frame from the Ninja 1100SX sport tourer. It comes with fully adjustable Showa suspension units for a comfortable ride. The braking hardware is from Tokico while Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tires provide excellent grip on the road.
