Smart just dropped its first sedan—the #6—on China's Weibo, moving beyond their usual compact cars.
This is their biggest ride yet at 193.1-inch long and built with a plug-in hybrid engine (gas plus electric).
It's a big shift for Smart, showing how far they've come since teaming up with Mercedes and Geely.
Standout features and what's next
The #6 packs some cool tech: an active rear spoiler, roof-mounted LiDAR, and enough range to go up to 1811km (CLTC) or 285km on electric alone.
With 429hp and strong fuel efficiency (3.9L/100km), it's about the same length as a BMW 7 Series E32.
Expect it in China in 2026, with the #6 likely remaining a local product.
