Groww shares surge 14% on debut, hit ₹24,000cr market cap

Digital investment platform Groww made a strong stock market debut, with its shares listing at ₹114 on the BSE—14% above the issue price—and ₹112 on the NSE.
The IPO, open from November 4-7, aimed to raise ₹6,632 crore and saw huge demand, getting oversubscribed 17.6 times.
Strong growth in demat accounts
Even as retail broking slows down, Groww added 1.38 lakh new demat accounts last month, taking its total to 1.2 crore and grabbing a solid 26.6% market share.
For FY25, revenue jumped nearly 50% to ₹3,902 crore with profits at ₹1,824 crore; though Q1 FY26 dipped about 10%.
As of this morning, shares were already trading higher at ₹124 and the company's market cap hit ₹24,169 crore on BSE alone.
