BJP parliamentarian Subramanian Swamy tweeted about ''suspending'' his demand for dismissing CEA Arvind Subramanian.
Mr. Swamy said he would "wait for events to prove the truth."
Financial Minister Arun Jaitley debunked Swamy's demand in a press conference saying, ''The government has full confidence in the Chief Economic Adviser. His advice to government from time to time has been of great value."

BJP MP Subramanian Swamy asked PM Modi to sack RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan by alleging him as "mentally not fully Indian" and one who had "willfully" wrecked the economy.
Swamy said that, ''The actions of Dr. Rajan lead me to believe that he is acting more as a disruptor of the Indian economy than the person who wants the Indian economy to improve.'

Raghuram & RBI officials accused of money laundering

BJP parliamentarian Subramanian Swamy accused Dr. Rajan and other RBI officials of money laundering and demanded SIT to investigate the charges.
According to Swamy, the RBI had granted licenses to small financial banks and the banks under foreign entities for money laundering purposes.
''The guidelines to grant licenses were 'brazenly flouted'", Swamy added.

RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan has decided to return to academia instead of taking up a second term.
Eminent banker Meera Sanyal tweeted: "Academia's gain is India's loss: Rajan to return to Chicago on 16 Sept. Swamy gets his way at the cost of India."
Dr. Rajan is widely known to have brought economic stability and modified India's creditability in the international market.

Now, sack CEA Arvind Subramanian, demands Swamy

After targeting RBI Governor, Swamy launched his next attack on Chief Economic Adviser Arvind Subramanian by demanding to sack him.
Swamy tweeted, "Who said to US Cong on 13/3/13 the US should act against India to defend US Pharmaceuticals interests? Arvind Subramanian MoF !! Sack him!!!."
Mr. Swamy had also posted a series of tweets in context of Arvind's inclination towards U.S.

Swamy back to demanding CEA

Within 24 hours of announcing that he was suspending his call for chief economic advisor (CEA) Arvind Subramanian's sacking MP Subranian Swamy was back to square one.
He dismissed Jaitley's remarks and blamed the CEA, claiming "his nationality and loyalties are questionable."
Swamy had levelled similar accusations at RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan
A majority of BJP leaders have distanced themselves from Swamy's comments.
