Armie Hammer is an American actor who was born on August 28, 1986, in California. He is the great-grandson of American business manager and oil tycoon Armand Hammer and son of businessman Michael Armand Hammer. He made his stage debut in a sixth-grade production of ‘Annie,’ where he played Rooster Hannigan. Armie started his career in acting with guest appearances in various television series. He bagged his first leading role in the 2008 biographical film ‘Billy: The Early Years.’ He rose to fame with his dual role in David Fincher’s 2010 biographical drama film ‘The Social Network.’ The film made him win the Toronto Film Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actor. Armie has also been nominated for the Golden Globe Award and Independent Spirit Award. Some of Armie’s notable films include ‘J. Edgar,’ ‘The Lone Ranger,’ ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,’ ‘Mirror Mirror,’ ‘Call Me by Your Name,’ and several others. In 2021, he was allegedly accused of sexual abuse and cannibalistic fetichism. However, Armie denied the allegations and termed it as an ‘online attack.’
