Arshad Warsi's son assisting Siddharth Anand on SRK's 'King'
What's the story
Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi has revealed that his son, Zeke, is currently assisting director Siddharth Anand on Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film King. Speaking to Bombay Times, he said both of his children, Zeke and daughter Zene Zoe, are interested in acting. "My son is currently assisting Siddharth Anand and has (also) assisted Rajkumar Hirani," Warsi added. King also stars Warsi, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Suhana Khan, and Abhay Verma.
Career apprehensions
Warsi expressed concern over his son's career choice
Warsi also expressed his concerns about Zeke's decision to pursue acting. He said, "Of course, I'm scared; it is a tough job today. Acting is not an easy profession anymore, as the success rate is so low." "I can't call a director and ask them to invest hundreds of crores in my kids." "Even a casual call to a filmmaker to meet my kids means expecting them to take my kids into their project, which I will not do."
Director admiration
Warsi praised Aryan Khan's directorial skills
Warsi also took a moment to praise Aryan Khan, who directed him in The Ba***ds of Bollywood. He said, "He is a very special kid. He is one of those directors who has a movie playing in his head." "The outcome [of my role] was huge. And working with him, I realized that he is one of those directors whom you listen to when he speaks and act on it." Meanwhile, Warsi was last seen in Jolly LLB 3.
