Bruce Springsteen, also known as ‘The Boss,’ is an American musician, bandleader, songwriter, and singer. He was born on September 23, 1949, in New Jersey. The genre of heartland rock music was exemplified by Springsteen in the 1970s and 80s. He has backed the popular American rock band ‘E Street Band’ since 1972 and has released many studio albums under the band. In total, he has released at least 20 studio albums. In a career spanning almost five decades, Springsteen is popular for his legendary and long stage performances that lasted for more than three hours. His songs are recognized for their poetic lyrics that combine social consciousness. Springsteen gained worldwide recognition with ‘Born to Run’ which was released in 1975. ‘Born to Run’ is considered to be one of the finest works of Springsteen. His studio album ‘Born in the U.S.A.’ which was released in 1984 is known as one of the greatest works by Springsteen. ‘Born in the U.S.A.’ is one of his best-selling albums and has sold almost 30 million copies around the world. With the release of the album, Springsteen emerged as one of the most influential rock stars of the 80s.
