'Dhurandhar' sees 40% drop in earnings on Day 4
Entertainment
Ranveer Singh's spy thriller Dhurandhar started strong at the box office, but saw a sharp 40% dip in collections on Monday as the weekday slowdown kicked in.
The film opened with ₹28-28.6 crore and hit a high of ₹43 crore by Day 3, quickly crossing the ₹100 crore mark—a personal best for Singh.
Box office buzz
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar has already grossed over ₹160 crore worldwide, with ₹125.67 crore from India and another ₹34.48 crore overseas.
A star cast featuring Akshaye Khanna and Sanjay Dutt seems to be drawing crowds, helping the film stay in the spotlight despite its Monday slump.
