Set in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Homebound tells the story of two childhood buddies from different religious backgrounds who aspire to join the police force. The movie uses their journey home during a nationwide lockdown to shed light on India's systemic issues such as inequality, poverty, and social injustice. It stars Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor, and Vishal Jethwa in lead roles. Meanwhile, the festival will be held from November 28 to December 6.
