Kerala filmmaker P T Kunju Muhammed faces sexual harassment allegation

Malayalam filmmaker and IFFK selection committee chairperson P T Kunju Muhammed has been accused of sexual harassment by a female colleague.
The alleged incident happened last month at a hotel in Thiruvananthapuram, where both were staying for film festival work.

Police investigation underway

The complaint was first sent to the Chief Minister's office, then handed to city police.
After checking hotel CCTV footage, police registered an FIR under sections related to harassment and outraging modesty.
With Muhammed being a well-known figure in cinema and politics, the case is drawing attention.
