Sunil Grover set to return as Dr. Mashur Gulati!
Sunil Grover fans will soon get to see him as Dr. Mashur Gulati after a long, long time. How, you ask? No, he hasn't patched up with Kapil Sharma yet. He hasn't launched his own show either. Grover was seen shooting for Sabse Bada Kalakaar. The photos from the shoot are already out! We just have to wait for the episode to screen.
Guthi leaves Kapil's show only to return later
In 2016, Sunil Grover who had played the popular character of Guthi on 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' left the show after Kapil and the producers of the show refused to give him a pay hike. Sunil later joined 'Mad In India' with Manish Paul but the show went off air after it didn't generate much TRPs. Sunil then came back on Kapil's show.
Kapil refuses to promote Sunil's 'Coffee with D'
Rumour mills were rife with news that Kapil Sharma had refused to promote Sunil's film 'Coffee With D'. on his show. However, Sunil had refuted this.
Friendship gone wrong: Kapil and Sunil fight on a plane
Kapil and Sunil got involved in a public fight on a flight. The incident took place when drunk Kapil started hurling abuses at Chandan Prabhakar, a fellow comedian. Sunil Grover tried to step up but Kapil, in turn, abused him too. Kapil Sharma apparently chased Sunil and then hit him. It was later revealed that Kapil had also abused Ali Asgar and Kiku Sharda.
Sunil, Ali and Chandan boycott Kapil's show
Post the fight between Kapil and Sunil, actors Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar and Sugandha Mishra boycotted the shoot. Kapil had sent a public apology to Sunil but it seems that the latter is not in the mood to forgive. Sunil Grover also posted a tweet where he expressed gratitude to his fans but also said that he was clueless about his future.
Sunil Grover to come up with his own show
Sunil Grover who rose to fame as Guthi in 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' is reportedly coming up with his own show now. Like the Kapil Sharma show, this show too will feature celebrities. Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar and Sugandha Mishra will also feature on the show. This obviously puts an end to speculations of his return to the Kapil Sharma Show.
