    Carrie Fisher's death due to sleep apnea, 'other factors'
  • Six months after legendary actress Carrie Fisher's death, the Los Angeles County coroner said it was due to sleep apnea and "other factors", including heart disease and drugs.

    Her death certificate had mentioned cardiac arrest, but the coroner said the exact cause was unknown, so the manner of death would be listed as 'undetermined'.

    In sleep apnea, people stop breathing temporarily during sleep.

  • Princess Leia of Star Wars, Carrie Fisher passed away on 23rd December.

    Family spokesman Simon Halls released a statement today, "It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away."

    She was flying from London to LA and went into cardiac arrest; she later died in the hospital after being treated for a heart attack.
