Amarnath Terror Attack
The 2017 Amarnath Yatra attack occurred on 10 July 2017. 8 Hindu civilian pilgrims were killed in a terror attack. The pilgrims were on their way from Amarnath Temple in Kashmir Valley. It was the first Monday of the month of Shraavana. The attack resulted in the death of seven people, of which six were women, and at least 18 people were injured.
