Bengaluru: Domestic help allegedly drugs, robs city gynecologist

In Bengaluru, a 54-year-old gynecologist named Lalitha was allegedly drugged and robbed by her domestic help on December 2.
The workers—a couple from Nepal hired just a month earlier—allegedly drugged her at her Bharath Nagar home, then made off with gold jewelry and cash.

Son finds mother unconscious; police on the case

Lalitha's son found her unconscious near her bedroom door the next morning.
CCTV footage showed the couple leaving with valuables around 10:45pm.
Police have filed charges for theft, and are investigating while Lalitha recovers in hospital.
