Cyclone Ditwah brings cool, rainy vibes to Bengaluru

India

Bengaluru's weather has turned unexpectedly cool and drizzly, all thanks to Cyclone Ditwah passing by the Tamil Nadu coast.
IMD says this chillier, cloud-filled stretch—with daytime highs around 25°C and nights dipping to 18°C—should stick around through the first week of December.

What's up with the weather?

Humidity is way up (think 94%), so it feels extra damp out there.
Even so, air quality is holding steady in the 'moderate' range.
Since late November, temps have dropped noticeably—Sunday saw a high of just 21.6°C (well below Bengaluru's usual December average).
Expect misty mornings and more light showers as this cooler, wetter spell continues.
