Delhi court extends gangster Anmol Bishnoi's NIA custody till December 5
Gangster Anmol Bishnoi, recently deported from the US, will stay in National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody for another week after a Delhi court's order.
The hearing took place under tight security at NIA headquarters because Bishnoi said he was facing threats to his life.
He'd been on the run since 2022 and was finally brought back to India on November 18.
Accused in major crimes and ongoing investigations
Bishnoi is being investigated for some high-profile cases—like the killing of NCP leader Siddique, the firing outside Salman Khan's home in April 2024, and Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala's killing in 2022.
He's also seen as a key player in a terror-gangster network led by his jailed brother Lawrence Bishnoi.
The NIA is still questioning him to figure out how this syndicate works and where its funding comes from.
