Dengue cases have shot up in Ernakulam, Kerala, with 533 suspected and confirmed infections reported just in October—138 of them confirmed.
Sadly, two men from Malayidamthurthu and Kothakulam lost their lives to the disease this month—the first dengue deaths reported in recent months.
Across Kerala, dengue claimed seven lives in October.
