IAS officer's daughter dies by suicide after dowry harassment claims

Madhuri Sahitibai, 25 and daughter of an IAS officer, was found dead at her family's home in Tadepalli, Guntur. She died by suicide after previously making dowry harassment allegations.
Her parents discovered her when she didn't come out of the bathroom for a long time.

What happened before

Sahitibai had left her B Tech studies and married Rajesh Naidu on March 5.
A few months into the marriage, she told her parents about facing dowry harassment, so they brought her back home in September.
Since then, she'd been living with them while police started an investigation under laws related to dowry deaths.
