'India's idea of nationhood is different from the West's'
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, speaking in Nagpur, shared his thoughts on what makes India's nationhood unique.
He said India's sense of "rashtra" is rooted in fraternity and ancient tradition, not conflict or labels like those found in the West.
According to Bhagwat, while Western cultures tend to divide ideas into categories or 'isms,' India's approach is about togetherness that goes way back.
Wisdom, unity, and living in harmony
Bhagwat emphasized that India's identity comes from people supporting each other—no matter their language, religion, or customs—and living peacefully with nature.
He believes real wisdom comes from meaningful life experiences rather than just collecting information.
His message: helping others brings true satisfaction—a feeling that stays throughout life, unlike temporary success.
