IndiGo blames weather, tech issues for flight chaos

IndiGo's recent wave of flight cancelations left a lot of travelers stranded and frustrated.
The airline says it was hit by a mix of adverse weather conditions, minor technical glitches, winter schedule changes, and increased airport congestion—all piling up at once.
Top bosses sent a detailed explanation to India's aviation regulator, the DGCA.

The DGCA is reviewing IndiGo's response and looking into what went wrong.
IndiGo has apologized for the mess and says it's working on a full root cause analysis.
Since December 6, operations have started to stabilize—IndiGo has helped affected passengers with hotel stays and transport, processed thousands of refunds, and plans to ramp flights back up soon.
