IndiGo refunds ₹610cr to passengers after mass flight delays

IndiGo just refunded a massive ₹610 crore to travelers hit by this week's widespread flight cancelations and delays.
The Civil Aviation Ministry stepped in, telling the airline to pay everyone back by 8:00pm on Sunday, December 7, or face action.

What IndiGo is doing next

IndiGo says it'll have 95% of its flights running again between December 10 and 15, with about 1,650 flights already set for Sunday.
To make things easier, they're automatically refunding tickets and waiving all change or cancelation fees for trips from December 5-15—no forms or calls needed.
The airline has apologized for the hassle and says refunds go straight back to your original payment method.
