    The ongoing series of ceasefire violations in Pakistan has killed yet another Indian civilian, while injuring 3 others in Jammu, Samba and Rajouri. According to reports, Pakistan has extended the violations to other sectors of the LoC as well, and the BSF is giving them a befitting response. Yesterday, another civilian as well as a soldier were killed by Pakistani firing.

    The Uri attack

    Four heavily armed terrorists, known as fidayeen, or a suicide squad, killed 19 soldiers and left several critically injured at a terror attack at the army's administrative base in Uri. India's DGMO stated that Indian special forces targeted 7 terror camps across the LoC on the intervening night of 28-29 September in response to Uri. Pakistan continues to deny that the raid took place.

    Pak violates ceasefire again in Jammu, Rajouri districts

    In the 6th ceasefire violation in the last 24 hours, Pakistani troops resorted to firing on Indian positions in Pallanwala sector, Jammu and Nowshera sector Rajouri. Earlier today, Pakistani troops resorted to firing in Kalsiyan, Kalal and Baba Khori in Pallanwala sector; heavy firing is reportedly still underway. Sources said Pakistan was "using small arms, automatics and mortar."

    J&K cop caught passing sensitive info to Pak

    A Jammu and Kashmir police officer has been taken into custody after he was caught passing information on troop movements and formations in the state. Authorities intercepted a call on his phone from Pakistan, where a Pakistani army officer asked him for Indian troop positions in Kashmir. DGP K Rakendra Kumar said "There is some negligence. We are inquiring into it."

    Pak violates ceasefire in Nowshera

    Pakistan has violated the ceasefire along the LoC in Nowshera district in Jammu. So far no casualties have been reported on the Indian side and gun battle is reportedly underway. Officials said the firing was "unprovoked" and comes on the heels of several similar ceasefire violations last week. Officials said that the Army has been put on alert.

    One soldier killed by Pak, terrorists steal rifles

    An Indian soldier was martyred at a forward post in Rajouri along the LoC by a Pakistani sniper. Sepoy Sudees Kumar of the 6 Rajputana Rifles was killed on the spot when he was hit by Pakistani fire at 6pm on Sunday. In addition, terrorists stole five assault rifles from the guards at a Doordarshan transmission tower in Anantnag.

    7 Pakistani Rangers killed by BSF in J&K

    7 Pakistani Rangers personnel were killed in retaliatory firing, after a sniper firing by the Pakistani forces at Hiranagar in Kathua district. Pakistan also violated the ceasefire in the RS Pura sector by crossing the International Border. In Baramulla, 2 terrorists belonging to Hafiz Saeed's Jaish-e-Mohammad militant outfit were also arrested. BSF said it was trying to contain terror in the valley.

    BSF Jawan, child killed, 9 civilians injured by Pak fire

    A BSF Jawan and a 9 year old child were killed in the latest ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the Jammu border; 9 civilians were also injured in the fire-fight. The violation which began at 6:40 pm on Sunday lasted over 19 hours in RS Pura, Arnia, Suchetgarh, Kanachak and Pargwal sub sectors of Jammu district. Over 20 border outposts and villages were attacked.

    2-3 Pak soldiers killed in retaliatory fire: Army

    The army has stated that 2-3 Pakistani soldiers were killed in retaliatory fire, during the ceasefire violation in Rajouri district. Army sources claimed that the Pakistani Army resorted to mortar shelling of Indian positions in Rajouri, leading to a heavy exchange of fire. The army also clarified that there was no loss of civilian or military lives on the Indian side.

    BSF soldier killed by Pak in RS Pura

    A BSF soldier was killed by Pakistani firing along the international border in Jammu's RS Pura district. The soldier was injured during heavy shelling and firing at the Sangral post in RS Pura and later succumbed to his injuries. So far the shelling has targeted about 15 Indian positions along the border, injuring at least 6 civilians as well.

    Ceasefire violations continue, JeM terrorists arrested in Kashmir

    Pakistan continued their spree of ceasefire violations in Jammu and Kashmir, targeting over 24 BSF posts along the international border. Army sources said Pakistan was using heavy calibre weaponry; no casualties were reported on the Indian side, while 7 Pakistanis have been injured in the retaliation. Meanwhile, authorities recovered explosives, arms and ammunition from Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists, arrested in Kashmir last night.

    Pakistan violates ceasefire in Kathua, Kupwara

    Pakistan resorted to mortar shelling Indian positions at Kathua and Kupwara, and the BSF retaliated in equal measure. So far there have been no casualties on the Indian side. In addition, terrorists killed and mutilated the body of an army jawan in the Macchil sector of Kupwara. This was the fourth infiltration bid foiled by the army in the span of one week.

    BSF jawan killed as ceasefire violations continue

    As ceasefire violations across the Indo-Pak LoC and the international border intensified, a BSF jawan was killed and another was injured by Pakistani troops. The current ceasefire violations are intense along Macchil, RS Pura, Keran and Kathua sectors; India responded with heavy firing. Sources said the fighting destroyed "several forward posts on both the sides and many residential houses at Keran."
