Kashmir's nights are still freezing, but temps inch up a bit
India
Kashmir's nights are slightly less icy, though the freeze is far from over.
Srinagar warmed up just a little to -3.1°C after hitting this season's coldest at -4.5°C earlier.
The valley is still wrapped in fog, making things extra misty around lakes and rivers.
How cold is it across the valley?
Konibal in Pulwama was the chilliest spot at -6°C, while Qazigund and Kupwara dropped to -3.4°C and -4.9°C.
Even popular getaways like Pahalgam (-5.2°C) and Gulmarg (-1.3°C) stayed frosty.
On the bright side, weather experts say mostly dry days are ahead until December 10—so folks can expect a small break from the biting cold (but don't pack away those woolens just yet).
