'Sudarshan Chakra' will destroy enemies, warns PM Modi

India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear that any enemy challenging India will face the country's new "Sudarshan Chakra."
Speaking at a Gita event in Udupi, he said, "India knows how to establish peace and also how to safeguard peace," pointing to recent events like the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor as proof of India's determination.

What is Mission Sudarshan Chakra?

Launched on August 15, 2025, Mission Sudarshan Chakra is India's big move toward next-level defense.
It's an AI-powered system that brings together surveillance, cyber protection, missile interception and even space monitoring—all under one roof.
Led by DRDO, the goal is to connect air, land, sea and cyber defenses into a single network by 2035.

Why does it matter?

This system isn't just about defense—it can spot threats from missiles, hypersonic weapons, drones or even cyber attacks and respond fast.
Modi linked this approach to the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, stating that "the end of oppressors is necessary to establish peace and truth."
He highlighted Operation Sindoor as an example of India's growing self-reliance in security tech.
