UK widow asks council to rethink bull sculpture near her home

A 73-year-old widow in Cumbria is asking local officials to reconsider a planned bull sculpture just steps from her house.
For Wendy Pleasant, the artwork feels like a painful reminder—her husband died after being attacked by cattle in 2020.
