Adityanath transfers 41 IAS officers in bureaucratic shake-up
In a second major reshuffle, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has transferred 41 IAS officers including the vice-chairman of the Lucknow Development Authority. Special Secretary Urban Planning and Housing Housing Department, RJ Chowdhary said the government was probing alleged irregularities in projects sanctioned by the Lucknow Development Authority. Adityanath had ordered audits of several projects initiated by the SP government after coming to power.
20 IAS officers shunted from UP
On 12 April, the Adityanath government transferred 20 IAS officers including Principal Secretary (Information) Navneet Sehgal. Several of the officers were seen as close to the Akhilesh government, and that could be the reason why they were targeted. 8 other officers were put on the wait list. The government hinted at corruption being the reason behind the transfers.

LDA VC asked to submit report in 72 hours
Probing the alleged irregularities in projects, the vice-chairman of the Lucknow Development Authority, Satyendra Singh has been asked to submit a report to the state government within 72 hours.
626 "tainted" personnel of UP police transferred
On CM Yogi Adityanath's directions, UP police launched 'Operation Clean-Up' and transferred 626 "tainted" personnel of UP police force, including inspectors, sub-inspectors and constables. "These policemen were posted in one district since long and had developed a nexus with local criminals," said inspector-general Vijay Singh Meena. The government has ordered a probe against the cops; FIRs will be registered if evidence is found.
