Ashes: Brydon Carse confident England's pace attack can rattle Australia
England fast bowler Brydon Carse has expressed confidence in his team's ability to unsettle Australia with their pace attack. This comes ahead of the 2nd Test of the ongoing Ashes series, a pink-ball affair, which will be held at Brisbane's Gabba from Thursday. Despite a disappointing performance in Perth last week, where England lost by eight wickets within two days, their five-man seam attack had rattled Australia during their first innings.
Weighing in on England's seam attack
Carse, who was part of the seam attack with Mark Wood, Jofra Archer, Gus Atkinson, and captain Ben Stokes in Perth, believes they can have a similar impact on Australia's batting line-up. Ahead of the 2nd Test, he said they all bring different skills and attributes to the table as a group of seamers. Carse hopes the visitors can continue to trouble some Australian batters with their unique skill sets.
Adaptability for pink-ball Test
Carse acknowledged that Australia has been dominant in Day-Night Tests, winning 13 of their 14 matches. "It will be interesting to see how it goes. The general chat is that in the twilight period, the ball does do a bit more. Looking back at a couple of highlights of previous games played in Australia, it's certainly very admirable how their new-ball bowling goes," the English pacer added.

The right-arm seamer, who can notch up lethal speeds, has taken 41 wickets from 10 Tests at an average of 28.60 so far.
