Manpreet Singh Gony is an Indian right-arm medium pace bowler best known for his performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He represents Punjab in domestic cricket and has played in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, and Ranji Trophy, and was the leading wicket-taker in the 2017 Ranji Tournament. Gony made his IPL debut with Chennai Super Kings in 2008. During that season of the IPL, he was amongst the crucial players for the Chennai Super Kings victory against Delhi Daredevil. He played for CSK for two more years, until 2010. For the 2011 and 2012 IPL editions, Gony was bought by Deccan Chargers. In 2013, he was picked by Kings XI Punjab and in 2017 by Gujarat Lions. Between 2008 and 2017, Gony played 44 IPL matches and maintained a bowling average of 34.78. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut in 2008 against Hong Kong.
