Azeem Baloch, father of late Pakistani model Qandeel Baloch, refused to testify against her brother, who he had earlier accused in an FIR of planning Qandeel's murder.
Additional district and sessions judge Saeed Ahmad Raza asked police to register a case against Azeem.
Authorities registered a case under section 213 of Pakistan's penal code for obstruction of justice.

Mufti Qawi meets Baloch, Government suspends Mufti

Pakistan's Ministry of Religious Affairs suspended Mufti Abdul Qawi's membership from the Government-led Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
The committee decided to take the stand two days after videos and pictures on the internet sighted Mufti and Baloch together.
Qawi said that Baloch had approached him for talks on faith, while Qandeel said that he had wished to see her before Ramzan.

Baloch claims to receive life threats after Qawi's suspension

After the posts on meeting Pakistani cleric Mufti Qawi vent viral, leading to his suspension by the Government, the actor had claimed that she had received threatening phone calls from Qawi.
She had stated that she would file an FIR if the situation persisted.
The Pakistani actor-cum-model claimed that she had met the cleric to show his real image to the world.

Baloch requests for security after death threats

Late last month, Qandeel Baloch had written to the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA), Pakistan's interior minister, and the senior superintendent of Islamabad, requesting for security.
She said that the images of her personal documents like her passport had been made public, stirring security issues for her.
She said that she would move abroad if no action is taken on this issue.

Pakistani model and celebrity Qandeel Baloch murdered in Multan

Popular Pakistani celebrity Fouzia Azeem, also known as Qandeel Baloch, is reported to have been murdered by her brother in Multan, Pakistan.
The police touted it to be a case of honour killing, as the brother had been highly displeased with the sensation she was creating on the internet.
Qandeel's brother, Regional Police Officer Azam Sultan, fled after murdering her at her Multan residence.

Qandeel Baloch's brother arrested for murder

The brother of deceased Pakistani social media sensation Qandeel Baloch has been arrested for murdering her.
Waseem Baloch was arrested in Dera Ghazi Khan in central Pakistan.
He said he had strangled her after drugging her for dishonouring the Baloch family name.
Police said they were searching for two of his accomplices who he had fled with after killing her.

Brother, cousin charged with killing Qandeel Baloch

A court in Pakistan has charged the brother and cousin of late social media sensation Qandeel Baloch with her murder; the duo had killed her to 'save the family's honour.'
Judge Saeed Ahmad Raza of the district court in Multan indicted Qandeel's brother Waseem, her cousin Haq Nawaz and taxi driver Abdul Basit for murdering her.
They have denied the charges.
