What would the next step of ours in the space exploration? Would we be able to make fusion rockets or giant starship in future? How would we make it all so?

The next major step is to prove that life exists or existed somewhere apart from our earth. Princeton Satellite Systems is working on fusion-reactors that would power future rockets. These engines would get explorers faster to their destination. For example, as per estimates six 5-megawatt fusion rockets can accomplish round-trip Mars missions in 310 days (compared to 2+ years using existing technology).
