The cut-off varies from year to year so there is no prescribed minimum percentage. You need to secure a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th to become eligible for admission there. Last year, the cut-off for the general category in KMC was 94% and in Miranda House, it was 95.75%.

In DU's statement to press last year, it clearly stated that DU would conduct an entrance exam for admission to its B.Com/B.Com(Hons.) courses. Although there is still no news on the test pattern, duration, and test dates.

According to the cut-offs, some of the very good colleges offering geography honors are Kirori Mal College (KMC), Miranda House, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Shivaji College and Kamala Nehru College. Out of them KMC and Miranda House continue to outperform there counterparts.

As of now, there is no news whether or not DU would conduct an entrance test for B.Sc Zoology and Biotechnology. There may be chances, as DU has already announced that it would be conducting an entrance exam for B.Com/B.Com(Hons.) but there is no surety on that. Until last year the admission to the course was merit-based only.

DU had issued a statement last year stating that all B.Com/B.Com(Hons.) aspirants who wish to take an admission in DU for the session 2018-19 would have to appear for a B.Com Entrance Test. DU is planning to tie-up with CBSE for conducting this all India level entrance test.

Yes. You have to appear for an entrance exam to get an admission in BA(Hons.) in DU. You need to register online on DU's site in order to appear for the entrance exam. In case of St. Stephens College, you have to fill a separate form available on the college site along with the DU undergraduate application form. Once the application process is over then the shortlisted candidates would have to appear for an aptitude test along with an interview. The qualifying exam, aptitude test, and interview carry the weightage of 85%, 5%, and 10% respectively.

The registration and availability of forms would start in the second week of May 2018 for all entrance based undergraduate courses, the first week of June 2018 for all merit-based undergraduate courses and in the fourth week of April 2018 for all postgraduate courses.
