Delhi University takes admissions for the students who have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi or any other equivalent Examination so recognized like ISC, State Boards, etc. So, if your board is a recognized board then definitely you can apply in DU.

DU offers B.Tech.(Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation). Selection/Admission will be done according to the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks secured in the entrance test. The Entrance test will be two hours duration and will be based on Mathematics, Reasoning and Analytical abilities at 10+2 levels. The Entrance test is of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) formats. DU's Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC) offers only B.Tech.(Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation). Also, Delhi's Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), affiliated to DU, offers Bachelor of Engineering (BE) program in subjects like Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Mechanical, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, and Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering. So, B.Tech in Aerospace and Aeronautics is currently not being offered by DU.

What if I want to apply under ECA category? What is the process? I have studied non-med in class 12th but want to study BA Hons. I have 94 in Political Science and English, 86 in Phy.

DU continues the existing provision of not more than 5% Sports / ECA quota (subject- wise). For admission to various undergraduate programmes on the basis of Extra Curricular Activities (ECA), firstly, the applicants seeking admission under ECA category need to register online on DU Admission portal. DU offers Bachelor of Science - Applied Physical Sciences (Analytical Methods in Chemistry and Biochemistry), Applied Physical Sciences (Industrial Chemistry), Applied Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, etc. The eligibility for different courses is different. DU offers two types of courses based on the entrance type- merit-based courses and entrance-based courses. For merit-based courses, you have to clear the cut-off of various colleges in your desired stream to secure an admission. The merit is calculated on the basis of 'Best Four'. No, DU at present does not offer B.Sc. in food nutrition and dietetics. It offers a couple of other courses like B.Voc. in Health Care Management, B.Sc Food Technology, B.Sc. Home Science, etc. You can check the complete list of courses offered by DU here (Pg. 17 onwards).

For B.Sc (Hons.) Computer Science, the minimum percentage requirement is- a) 60% or more marks in Mathematics b) 60% or more marks in aggregate of four subjects including Mathematics, one language and two other subjects listed as Academic Subjects. The type of questions asked is different in different DU Exams. For example, for BMS/B.A.(H)B.E./BBA(FIA) the entrance exam will be based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) (four choices each) designed to evaluate the aptitude of the applicants. The following areas are included in the entrance test: Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General English Business and General Awareness.
