For BA in Sanskrit from DU, the minimum eligibility criteria include- an aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination. Applicants securing 40% marks in the aggregate and 50%marks in the subject concerned are also eligible for admission to the Sanskrit Honours Programme. The minimum percentage required for B.Tech. (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation) in DU is an aggregate of 60% marks in four subjects (including Mathematics) in the qualifying examination. Mathematics being compulsory. If you want to claim admission under OBC-NCL category then you need an OBC-NCL certificate of the latest financial year to apply. If the applicants do not have the OBC non-creamy layer certificate of the financial year 2017-2018 at the time of upload, the applicant may upload old OBC non-creamy layer certificate/ acknowledgment slip of OBC non-creamy layer certificate application. The 'Best Four' percentage is calculated differently for different courses. It also depends on your stream and subjects opted in class 12th. You can check how best of four percentage is calculated in DU here (Page 123 onwards).

The DU portal allows you to register only once so, you need to fill your form very carefully. However, you can rectify the error by logging again into your account through the "Edit" button at the end of each session/page till the online registration portal is open & the fee is not paid. The applicant can't change/update the information once the fee is submitted.

The syllabus for the entrance examination of each postgraduate course is the corresponding B.A./B.Com/B.Sc. The merit for BA Hons. Hindi shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects. Applicants who have passed the Intermediate Examination of an Indian University/Board with at least 40% marks in the aggregate and also in the 'Prabhakar in Hindi' examination, shall be eligible for admission to this subject.
