If I had psychology which is a BA course yet I had that subject in 12th, would marks be deducted due to stream change?

Deduction depends on two things- change of streams and inclusion of subjects which are not included in the academic/elective subjects listed by Delhi University. You can check the criteria for calculating 'best four' here (Page 123 onwards).

For most of the courses, English is a compulsory subject while calculating 'Best Four' percentage but the procedure to calculate 'best four' differs from course to course in Delhi University. You can check how to calculate 'best four' here (Page 123 onwards). You can rectify the error by logging again into your account through the "Edit" button until you have paid the fees.

My daughter passed Kerala board higher secondary(plus two) course. Her best subjects are English, Hindi, Biology, and Chemistry. Can she include Hindi while calculating cut off?

The Online Registration for postgraduate courses has already begun in DU and the window for applying online is 18.05.2018 to 07.06.2018. As tomorrow is the last date to apply, I suggest you apply as soon as possible. Notification of the First Admission List would come on 04.07.2018. Can we take a transfer from another college to DU? Or we have to repeat the first year?

Most probably, DU doesn't allow so. You need to take a fresh admission in the first year itself. In DU, there is no disadvantage for gap year students and they would be treated at par with regular students. DU offers Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) and selection to it will be based on the rank computed from the combined the weighted average of the percentage scored in the All India Joint Entrance Test and the percentage scored in the qualifying examination where the weights are: Entrance Test: 65%, Qualifying Examination: 35%. I dropped a year after giving boards last year. Would it be okay if I produce a character certificate with the signature of a gazetted officer? Do I need a gap year affidavit too?

There is no disadvantage to gap year students and they will be treated at par with regular students. They should meet the requisite criteria for admission and must possess the necessary documents/certificates. As gap year students are treated at par with regular students, so most probably no special document is required but you can still get the affidavit, just to be sure.

What if any of certificate isn't available at the time of admission?

If you are applying under any reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PwD), then you must have Caste/Tribe/PwD certificate in the name of the applicant. The OBC certificate must also specify that applicant belongs to non-creamy layer and the caste is listed in the Central Government list. It is necessary to possess these certificates otherwise you won't be able to get an admission under your category quota.

When I was filling the online application form I forgot to apply my OBC certificate so is it possible to take it while admissions?

No, the portal allows you to register only once. However, you can rectify the error by logging again into your account through the "Edit" button at the end of each session/page till the online registration portal is open & the fee is not paid. You can apply in all merit-based as well as entrance based courses through the same online application.

As physical education is not there in the list of academic/elective subjects given by DU, so including it would call for a deduction of 2.5% imposed on the calculated 'Best Four' percentage.

You can rectify the error by logging again into your account through the "Edit" button at the end of each session/page till the online registration portal is open & the fee is not paid. The applicant can't change/update the information once the fee is submitted.
