The JEE main exams were held from April 8 to April 16. JEE Advanced took place on May 20, 2018.

No, the syllabus is the same as the previous year. The only change that will happen is in the pattern of the examination. The new pattern will heavily rely on technology like AI, psychometric analysis and computer-based adaptive testing.

Could a student clear entrance exam only by coaching institutes like Aakash, Vidya Mandir Classes etc.

One can clear the entrance exams by attending institutes such as Aakash and VMC but it depends on the student that how much he/she prepares during and after the classes. It is the duty of these institutes to guide and prepare students for the entrance exams but it is not guaranteed that if you have studied there you will make through the entrance exams.

Is AI going to be introduced from this year or from next year?

The National Testing Agency will conduct this new pattern of examination with AI this year in December. The first exam will be conducted in December.
