Biochemistry is not among the subjects available for UPSC Mains exam. Options available are Anthropology, Chemistry, Botany, Medical Science, Physics, and Zoology, among others.

Can I give the interview in my mother tongue i.e. Telugu?

Although it is advisable to give the interview in English only, but you can, of course, opt for your mother tongue, ie. Telugu, or any other language you're comfortable with, for your interview. In the latter case, there would be a translator present to translate your responses for the interviewing panel.
