How long do crocodiles live?
Measuring the age of crocodiles is difficult, and measurement techniques have some limitations that. That said, all crocodile species live an average of 30-40 years, while larger species often live 70 years on an average. However, there are several cases in which crocodiles have lived past 100 years, with some even living up to 140 years.

Which is the biggest crocodile ever found?
In 2011, Guiness World Records recognized Cassius, a male saltwater crocodile as the biggest croc alive. Cassius measured a whopping 18ft in length, but in 2012, lost his title to Lolong, a 20ft 3-inch saltwater crocodile caught in the Philippines.

Are crocodiles social?
In some ways yes. While reptilian species are not particularly social, crocodiles are reputed the most social among reptiles. Although crocodiles rarely form social groups, they often rest together in certain sections of rivers, tolerating each other at times of feeding and basking.
