Undoubtedly, EVs are the future of transportation. Automakers are already offering more electric models than ever while governments around the globe are revising taxes to incentivize these greener options.
The result is that slowly but surely, consumers are shifting towards battery-powered cars.
So, if you too are planning to make the switch, these are the best five all-electric SUVs you can buy in 2019.
MG ZS EV: Priced at around $26,000
The ZS EV arrives as the first all-electric car from British automaker Morris Garages. It is a modern, sporty-looking SUV that can easily accommodate a family of five.
Under the hood, the ZS EV packs a 44.5kWh battery that offers a range of 230km and can do 0-100kmph in 9 seconds. It can also juice up in 35 minutes using an 85kW DC charger.

Audi e-Tron: Priced at around $75,000
The e-Tron is the first full series-production electric car from Audi. With this, you get a familiar Q5 like SUV styling, premium and hi-tech interior, and German driving pleasure.
The car packs two electric motors, offering a combined power of 355bhp, a range of 400km, and a top speed of 200kmph. As for getting road-ready, it takes around 40 minutes to fully charge up.

However, mechanically, it's brand new. It offers a range of around 420km, a four-wheel-drive system, and 396bhp of maximum power.
And the car's ability to sprint from 0-100kmph in 6 seconds will come as a pleasant surprise.
Jaguar I-Pace: Priced at $76,500
Rivaling Audi's e-Tron and Merc's EQC, the I-Pace is Jaguar's first-ever performance SUV. It can go from 0-100kmph in just 4.8 seconds (thanks to 700Nm of torque) and offers a range of 470 km on a single charge to top this compilation.
And for a premium SUV, it also offers a Head-up display, dual touch screen panels, and everything else you expect from Jaguar.
