Raghavendra purchased a 1-litre Kinley water bottle for Rs. 40 from the mall outlet on 5 Dec'15 instead of the Rs. 19 MRP.
He purchased a similar bottle from a Jayanagar shop the same day for Rs. 19.
He approached the court and submitted the invoices of both purchases.
He stressed Coca-Cola "connived" with the store to increase the price and cheat customers.

The Bengaluru court began hearing Raghavendra's case in early 2016. The store in the mall was represented by its proprietor in the court. However, the vendor, GS Enterprises, claimed that Raghavendra's complaint was false, frivolous, and vexatious.
