School for the poor to shut down after 3 decades

The Baldwin Methodist Kannada School at Anepalya on Hosur Road is on the verge of shutting down after running for 32 years.

The educational institution extended its services to the unfortunate; its teachers, including the principal, would go door-to-door, convincing slum dwellers to send their children to school.

The school management blames the shortage of funds and students for the same.
