A fire which broke out at an ATM-kiosk inside Mysuru Palace caused damage to parts of the palace's gate, the compound wall near the ticket counter and the counter. No injuries were reported; the area was cordoned off. According to reports, an electrical short-circuit in the ATM room caused the fire. It was doused by 6:35 am. On Thursday, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation initiated its value added services for commuters and reintroduced distributing free water to commuters taking its premium buses.
