Homegrown e-commerce giant Flipkart is offering some exciting deals on smartphones under its ongoing "Republic Day Sale" that ends today.

Xiaomi best-seller Redmi Note 4 is available for just Rs. 10,999 on Flipkart after a discount of Rs. 2,000.

However, buyers can get the handset for Rs. 999 as they can avail up to Rs. 10,000 off in exchange for old smartphones.

Flipkart promises a minimum 50% percent buyback value with Rs. 99 Buyback Guarantee. Flipkart says users can get a buyback value of around Rs. 5,400 for Redmi Note 4.

Redmi Note 4 was Xiaomi India's most popular smartphone of 2017. For Q3 2017, Xiaomi India registered 292% Year-on-Year growth thanks to its affordable yet premium devices, especially Redmi Note 4, which was India's best-selling smartphone for the third consecutive quarter.

Xiaomi India launched Redmi Note 4 smartphone in January last year. The device comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display with a 2.5D curved glass.

Redmi Note 4 is powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card).

It runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The dual SIM (Micro and Nano) smartphone supports 4G LTE connectivity.

Meanwhile, reports claim that Xiaomi India may launch Redmi Note 4 successor, Note 5, in February. This could be the Chinese device maker's first major announcement in India this year. Even in 2017, Xiaomi India kickstarted the year by announcing Redmi Note 4.
