Kawasaki Motors India has launched the 2019 edition of its adventurer tourer Versys 650 in the country.

The updated Kawasaki Versys 650, priced at Rs. 6.69 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), has received some cosmetic updates but retains the mechanics of the outgoing model.

Notably, bookings for the motorcycle are now open across all Kawasaki dealerships in India.

Styling

2019 Kawasaki Versys 650: At a glance

In terms of styling, there's aren't many changes, as the updated edition of Versys 650 retains the same body kit and other equipment.

That said, the motorcycle has received a new color option - Metallic Moondust Grey/Metallic Flat Spark Black.

With this new color scheme, the 2019 Versys 650 gets a grey-black finish with green accents on the rims, fuel tank, and rear cowl.

Engine and power

Under the hood

Mechanically, the 2019 Versys 650 is same as the outgoing model.

Hence, the adventurer tourer continues to be powered by the same 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine which is tuned to deliver nearly 69 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.

Notably, the transmission unit also remains the same with the engine being mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
