Jaguar's Land Rover has launched a new 'Landmark Edition' of Discovery Sport, its famous four-wheel drive SUV.
The new model sits between the existing SE and HSE variants of the off-roader and comes with major design changes and new 'exclusive' color options.
It has been priced at Rs. 53.77 lakh in India (ex-showroom Delhi).
Here's more about the new variant.
On the design front, the new Discovery Sport gets a major revamp with Yulong White, Corris Grey and Narvik Black colors and a Carpathian Grey panoramic roof.
It looks sportier, thanks to a distinctive-looking bumper, Graphite Atlas grille, and 18-inch alloy wheels carrying a dark grey finish.
The SUV also sports front-rear parking aids to warn about nearby objects and LED-powered xenon headlights.
On the inside, the Landmark Edition of Discovery Sport looks just as spacious as the SE and HSE variant.
However, in this case, you'll notice subtle changes such as the dark grey aluminum finish on the center stack and all-black leather seats.
In addition, it also offers an 8-inch infotainment system with in-built navigation, 10-speaker sound system, ambient lighting, cruise control, and speed limiter.
Under the hood, Discovery Sport Landmark Edition packs a 2.0-liter Ingenium diesel automatic engine with Land Rover's Terrain response tech.
The motor produces 180PS of power and 430Nm of torque, allowing the vehicle to go 0-100kmph in just 9.9 seconds; it can go up to a whopping 188kmph.
However, it is important to note that there's no other engine option for this model.
The new Discovery Sport has been priced at Rs. 53.77 lakh in the Indian market and can be booked from any Land Rover dealership in your city.
Its price is a tad higher than the SE variant of Discovery Sport but pretty much similar to the top version of HSE variant.
Notably, it also comes in a pretty useful (5+2) seating option.
