MV Agusta's Dragster 800 range of motorcycles, which arrived in India via the Completely built unit (CBU) route in October, has received a tremendous response from buyers.
The Italian automaker has sold all six units of the premium motorcycle that were imported into the country, including two units each of the 800 RR, 800 RR America, and 800 RR Pirelli edition.
Here's what the MV Agusta Dragster 800 offers
All the three variants of the Dragster 800 share the same mechanical specifications and underpinnings, but differ in terms of color scheme and graphics.
The motorcycles offer a stunning naked-styled sporty look with sharp design cues, triple exhausts, matte-finished body, and an all-LED lighting setup.
In addition, the more premium Pirelli edition comes with one-of-a-kind rubber fuel tank and scratch resistant fairings from Pirelli.
Power and performance
The MV Agusta Dragster 800 range draws power from a 798cc liquid-cooled, DOHC engine which comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and a bi-direction quick shifter. This mill is capable of producing 140PS of power and 87Nm of peak torque.
A look at the safety and suspension suspension
On the safety front, the MV Agusta Dragster 800 range comes equipped with disc brakes on both the wheels, along with dual-channel ABS, traction control, and wheelie control for better grip on the road.
To handle the suspension duties, the motorcycles house Marzocchi's telescopic forks on the front and Sachs' monoshock unit on the rear.
And, what about the pricing?
As for the pricing, the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR and the Dragster 800 RR America models cost Rs. 18.73 lakh, while the more premium Dragster 800 RR Pirelli edition is priced at Rs. 21.50 lakh in India.
