Hyundai online car bookings now open!

Buying cars in India is now only a click away with Hyundai opening bookings through its portal www.Hyundai.co.in.

Online bookings are accepted for its range of cars, from entry-level Eon to the flagship Santa Fe.

Customers can register and pay a booking amount ranging from Rs. 5,000-1 lakh to the preferred dealership without visiting the outlet.

With 10 models, Hyundai is India's second-largest carmaker.

Hyundai aims to generate 10% of its retail through the much easier and faster online booking system.

Through the digital route, Hyundai wants to enhance its customers' virtual experience and enable prospective owners to book any car without physically visiting outlets.

Hyundai Motor India MD & CEO YK Koo said the online booking will redefine car purchase in India.

Various options to choose from

MD & CEO Koo said the online booking would make "customers' purchase journey simpler, faster, convenient yet experiential."

The booking portal offers the option of choosing the preferred car model, color, fuel type, variant, preferred dealership, state, and location.

Paying a token booking amount will confirm the buyer's initial transaction.

Customers can book the cars through the desktop and mobile versions of Hyundai's website.

Audi India, first to launch online car bookings

When Audi India launched its Q3 S Edition, it chose to open the bookings online.

Launching the online booking of its cars, Audi claimed their online booking system was the first of its kind in the country.

The innovative booking process had contributed to the car's spectacular debut by giving Audi enthusiasts an opportunity to book the SUV at the click of a button.

Renault launched mobile app for Kwid

In Nov'16, French carmaker Renault had followed a different and innovative approach to market its Kwid. It unveiled an app and virtual showroom for prospective buyers to explore details and make bookings. Renault received over 21,600 bookings for Kwid through the app alone.

Tata Motors

Jaguar Land Rover's online vehicle booking platform

In Sep'16, Jaguar Land Rover, Tata Motors' wholly-owned subsidiary, launched an online car booking platform for customers to register or purchase any Jaguar or Land Rover vehicle by paying a deposit of Rs. 40,000.

In Feb'17, Tata Motors tied up with Tata's e-commerce portal, Tata CLiQ, to launch online bookings for SUV Hexa, enabling customers to also explore its features and book test drives.

Maruti Suzuki launches online booking for the first time

For the first time, India's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki opened online bookings in Jan'17 for premium hatchback Ignis through Nexa's exclusive website with an initial payment of Rs. 11,000. In Feb'17, it allowed online bookings for Baleno RS (Nexa) also with Rs. 11,000 booking amount.
