ReasonsLack of community participation among migrant population a major concern

Child rights activists, juvenile justice lawyers and policemen cite several reasons for the spread of this social malady.

Lack of community participation among the city's gigantic migrant population, pornography consumption by unaware teenagers, no sex education and gender sensitization in schools, and poor deterrence - delayed trials, lack of special courts, shoddy investigations and low conviction rate - all promote gender violence.
