National Road Safety Week was observed countrywide last week from February 4-10.

Recently, the Delhi Traffic Police came up with the ingenious and interesting idea to spread awareness on road safety.
The video showed Constable Kumar holding a mirror in front of a helmet-less pillion rider on a busy road near the ITO Crossing.
Right after the mirror, he pulled up placards with thought-provoking messages.
Later, another cop is seen handing them a flyer.
First message: 'Kyuki Aaina Jhooth Nahi Bolta'
The first placard read, "Kyuki Aaina Jhooth Nahi Bolta (The mirror doesn't lie)."
This was followed by, "Meri Helmet Meri Suraksha. Aur Aapki? (My helmet is my safety. And yours?)."
Next came, "Sada ISI Mark Waala Helmet Hi Prayog Kare. (Always use ISI marked helmet)."
And the last card read, "Aapki Surakhshit Yatra ki Shubkamna (We wish you a safe journey)."
