1.3 kg cocaine recovered from stomach of African-origin smuggler
1.3 kilos of cocaine was recovered from an African-origin smuggler who arrived in Delhi on February 6.
He had ingested 90 capsules containing the contraband in Nigeria, and was to deliver the drugs to another African dealer.
Security personnel got suspicious as he was travelling on a tourist visa, but claimed he had come for business.

After Asha Kiran, similar deplorable conditions found at Asha Jyoti
After the Asha Kiran controversy, Delhi Commission for Women has now found similar deplorable conditions at another government facility, Asha Jyoti, in Janakpuri.
Apart from unhygienic conditions at the home, women were found lining up for baths and walking around naked. Inmates were also made to cook meals at the kitchen.
DCW has summoned Social Welfare Department Secretary Dilraj Kaur on February 11.
21 rooftop restaurants in CP to be shut down
The NDMC has ordered the closure of 21 rooftop restaurants in Connaught Place after roof of a building in the vicinity collapsed.
The restaurants include Lord of the Drinks, Boombox Café, Barbeque Nation, Luggage Room, Warehouse Café and more.
NDMC rules forbid terraces or balconies from being used for commercial activities. A survey of "dangerous" buildings in CP will also be conducted.

Scare at IGI after fire in plane's engine
There was a scare at IGI Airport when locals reported flames and sounds from the engine of a Bengaluru-bound GoAir aircraft that had just taken off.
Some among the 193 people on board also noticed fire in the engine, and the pilot received signals of an engine failing.
Fire brigades and ambulances were rushed to the runway, but it landed safely after 15 minutes.

'Happy Streets' in Noida every Sunday
Starting February 12, Sundays in Noida will witness Happy Streets, an event aiming to promote non-motorized transport. It was initially launched as Raahgiri Day in Gurugram in 2013.
The initiative, in collaboration with Noida Authority and the police, will be launched at the Mall of India, Sector 18, from 6 am to 9 am.
Citizens can participate in cycling, zumba, skating, yoga and more.
Gurugram tops 'most polluted cities' list for 48 hours
For 48 hours, Gurugram (AQI 322) stayed on top of the Central Pollution Control Board's list of the 28 most polluted cities. On February 9, pollution levels shot up to 347, before Gurugram was replaced by Haldia (AQI 392), an industrial city in West Bengal.
Agra, Ahmedabad, Delhi and Faridabad were in the list too.
AQI above 300 is classified as 'very poor'.
New runway, terminal planned at IGI Airport
Delhi International Airport (Pvt) Ltd (DIAL) has sought environmental permission for a fourth runway at IGI, a new terminal, and expansion of T1. IGI will then have an annual passenger handling capacity of 7.5 crores.
The Rs 16,000-crore project has been approved by the aviation ministry.
Passengers will be able to change between T3 and T4 by simply walking over the concourse.
